With operations expected to commence by March 2024, the service, facilitated by Galaxy Aerospace Ghana, aims to provide high-speed, low-latency internet access across the country. This venture holds promise for enhancing digital access and bridging the connectivity gap in Ghana, contributing to the nation's technological advancement.
Your order will ship within the estimated shipping timeline provided on your order details page found on your Account page. We will notify you if the estimated shipping timeline changes. Your order details show you the status of your order. Statuses listed in chronological order:
  1. Pending
  2. Preparing Shipment - with the estimated shipping timeline
  3. Shipped - with the tracking number link (FedEx/DHL)
Once your order has been shipped, please contact the carrier shown on your tracking information for updates on your order. Note: Certain countries (e.g. Brazil, Philippines) may experience longer delivery timelines.
Starlink's Fair Use Policy ensures that our customer base is not negatively impacted by a small number of users consuming unusually high amounts of data. For more details on how we manage our network traffic and assign customer data based on service plan, see the Fair Use Policy and the Starlink Specifications here. As of May 2nd, 2023, while the names of the Starlink service plans & data types have changed, your data’s network precedence and speeds have not. See below for details.
  • “Mobile Data” has the same network precedence as the data previously called “Basic Access” assigned to Roam plans. In-motion use for Mobile Data is limited to under 10mph.
  • “Standard Data” has the same network precedence as the data previously called “Priority Access” assigned to the residential plans. The Standard data assigned to residential users is now unlimited at all times.
  • “Priority Data” “is the fastest data available (excluding Enterprise plans) and has the same network precedence as the data previously called “Priority Access” assigned to the business and maritime plans. Priority Data is counted towards your allowance any time you use Starlink, not just during peak hours.
  • “Mobile Priority Data” is new. It’s the sweetest data yet. It has the same network precedence as “Priority Data,” but is the only data available on land, at sea, and for in motion use.
Starlink offers both fixed and mobile service plans designed to be flexible and meet a variety of internet needs for users and businesses around the globe. With Starlink, there are no contracts and no exclusivity requirements. It's easy to change your plan, purchase more data, and add additional service locations.
  • Change to higher cost plan: The change will be effective immediately. You will be charged a pro-rated cost dependent on the plan monthly cost difference and time remaining on your current billing cycle.
  • Change to a lower cost plan: Your current service plan will remain the same, and your new service plan will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will be charged the new monthly service cost at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • Change to a same cost plan: The change will be effective immediately. As there is no cost difference, the change will be at no cost to you.
  1. Note: You can change from a Mobile plan to a Fixed (Standard, Priority) plan as long as capacity is available. If capacity is not available, you will not see the option available.
  2. Note - pricing will vary by market based on currency, taxes, and other local market conditions. This feature may not be available for all account types.
  3. Note: All prices in Ghana Cedis(GHS) are conventions from the original currencies in Dollars($). Prices can increase or decrease depending on the rate on the Dollar($).
You can stop the recurring monthly payment, cancel Services and withdraw at any time via your Starlink account located within the Starlink Customer Portal. To avoid being billed for the following month of Services you must cancel Services prior to your invoice statement being generated.
