A Senegalese Space Studies Agency (ASES) delegation led by its Director-General, Mr Maram Kaire, visited Turkey from December 12th to 15th, 2023.
The delegation had working sessions with Yusuf Kıraç, the President of the Turkish Space Agency and his colleagues, and the top management of the Space Systems Department of Turkish Aerospace Industries. The Senegalese delegation identified several strategic areas of cooperation, particularly the establishment of space infrastructure, equipment, technology transfer, strengthening the skills of actors in the national ecosystem, etc.
The delegation also held a meeting with His Excellency Mr Cheikh Gueye, the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal in Turkey, to report to him on the areas of cooperation agreed upon between ASES and its Turkish partners and seek his support for better monitoring differences.
