ISU, In Collaboration With ASPACE and SGAC, Launches A Full Tuition Scholarship.

The International Space University (ISU), in collaboration with ASPACE Satellite Technology Limited (ASPACE) and Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), has announced a fully funded tuition scholarship for the academic year 2025 to support ISU’s efforts to be inclusive in its student representation.

ASPACE’s full-tuition scholarship is specifically designated for a single individual from underprivileged and underrepresented communities and countries, facilitating their attendance at the ISU Master programme for the academic year 2025. This endeavour aligns with ISU’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and advancing the democratisation of space education.

Furthermore, the organisations will grant a single full scholarship for the one-year Master in Space Studies programme to a deserving African applicant with outstanding academic and/or professional merit.

According to Nicolas Peter, ISU President, “ISU expresses its deepest gratitude to USPACE/ASPACE for their generous support to give a chance for a future student of ISU’s Master of Space Studies (MSS) coming to Strasbourg in September 2024 from an underprivileged or underrepresented community or country. This partnership with SGAC is also a testament to the importance of nurturing talent for the continued advancement of the global space domain. ISU calls for additional organisations to join this effort to allow all to join the space sector”.

“ASPACE is building one of the world’s largest commercial satellite manufacturing centres, and we want to train and hire talented individuals from all over the world. Our partnership with ISU is the perfect match to achieve this goal,” commented ASPACE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Fengquan Sun.

Note

Interested candidates must be SGAC members at the time of application to ISU’s master’s programme. The application deadline is 30 April 2024.
