On Saturday, 17th December, 2022, Galaxy Aerospace Ghana organized a Space Civilization Carnival; Gravity 1.0 to create the awareness about our Vision and desire in taking Ghana to Space by 2030 the first of its kind in Ghana. Students from the Galaxy Tech. Foundation and our team participated in the carnival that was held at our Ground Station at Blue Rose Estates, Kasoa Buduburam,Ghana.
The aim for organizing such a Civilization Carnival was to create the awareness on Space, Space Science and technology and also to crave the indulgence of the youth to develop their interest to research and read further about Space, other planets and celestial bodies in the universe. The carnival was attended by people from the Media, Ghana Atomic Agency, Civil Aviation, University Students, Clergy, Youth, Adult and Children from most parts of Ghana.
There was a display of some rocket prototypes and costumes display to represent aliens which exist in other planets. There was also costume display of some of the careers in aerospace like the Astronauts and Pilots and many other wonderful displays. The carnival was also graced by students from the Galaxy Tech. Foundation with spectacular choreography dance.
As Nathaniel Branden said; “The first step towards change is awareness.” Therefore, as Galaxy Aerospace Ghana looks forward to explore space and beyond, we will continue creating and raising awareness about Space and the need to for us to explore it through annual Space Carnivals and other possible means.
Last year was amazing and informative for everybody who attended the carnival. This year will be awesome.
