Eutelsat And InterSAT Extend Partnership With Additional Capacity To Boost Connectivity Across Central And Eastern Africa

Eutelsat Group and InterSAT have announced an expansion of their long-standing partnership through a new multi-year agreement that secures additional Ku-band capacity on the EUTELSAT 7C satellite.
The renewed collaboration aims to enhance fixed data services across Central and Eastern Africa, addressing growing demand for reliable, high throughput connectivity in underserved and remote regions.
Alongside this new deal, InterSAT has also renewed its existing capacity lease on the EUTELSAT 70B satellite.
Discussions are underway to further enrich InterSAT’s offering by adding low-Earth orbit LEO capacity from OneWeb, part of Eutelsat Group, particularly for markets in East Africa.
