Africa is a resource-rich continent, with Ghana being the continent’s largest and the world’s sixth-largest gold producer. However, 60% of Ghana’s water bodies have been polluted due to unlawful mining activities. While efforts to curb these activities have not delivered the desired results, Ghanaian governments and private organisations are turning to space solutions.
