UAE And Egypt Strengthen Space Collaboration With New MoU

In a milestone development for Arab space collaboration, the UAE Space Agency and the Egyptian Space Agency EgSA signed a wide ranging Memorandum of Understanding MoU during the 2025 NewSpace Africa Conference in Cairo.
The agreement marks a critical step in deepening bilateral ties, with a focus on advancing space science, technology, and policy harmonisation.
This alliance reinforces both nations’ commitment to sustainable space development and positions them as key drivers of Arab integration in the global space economy.
By leveraging Egypt’s expanding space infrastructure and the UAE’s advanced technological capabilities, the collaboration is set to accelerate innovation and foster regional autonomy in space exploration and commercialisation.
The agreement also reflects a growing trend of intra-African and Middle Eastern space cooperation, illustrating how targeted alliances can elevate national ambitions and strengthen collective influence on the global stage.
